WHISPERED SOFTLY ON PURPOSE, 2025

Thinking about how spaces are made sacred – and who is cast out in the process – “Whispered Softly on Purpose” draws on Christian material traditions, folded into gestures of witchcraft and echoes of Slavic folklore, to summon an alternative divinity. Gašper Kunšič reimagines decorative symbols as erotic thresholds, while Weronika Wysocka presents a study of smoke, leaving remnants of a ritual, memory or spell temporarily tangible. Rooted in a shared sense of the divine as felt, not fixed, the exhibition and its spellcasters conjure a queer sanctum of their own making.

SYNC, 2024

SYNC brings together different pairs of artists who have collaborated to create new works for this group exhibition. In an age where connections feel fluid, SYNC offers an entry point to collaborative artistic practices by highlighting the on-going process of mutual understanding. Each work in the exhibition is born from the shared experience of two artists, bringing different rhythms of thought and expression into sync.

“Security Street” is, on the one hand, a collaborative project between artist Samuel Georgy and curators Mara Aiko Bushill and Nelli Lorenson.
On the other hand, it is a quest to find what security is all about. Combining world-building and institutional critique, this exhibition played with speculative fiction to create an alternative bureaucratical reality.

Mediation and Publication for the Kunst am Bau Project “All, Humans”by Raqs Media Collective, 2023

Winter Semester 23/24 at Goethe University, Frankfurt am MainTo complete a module of the Curatorial Studies degree at the Goethe University and Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main, the respective first-year class is obliged to complete the end of year project. The main objective is for the class to collaborate to create an interesting project, where we exercise our skills as cultural professionals. Under the supervision of Prof. Stefanie Heraeus, my class was invited to create an informative booklet and organize the opening night programme to the inauguration of the 2022 Kunst am Bau project“All, Humans” by the artist collective Raqs Media Collective.

For the opening night on 02.11.2023, all three members of the Raqs Media Collective, Monika Narula, Jeebesh Bagchi and Jeebesh Bagchi, came to participated in an artist talk moderated by me and my colleague Jelena Matičić.

KONVERSION, 2023

Focusing on their own individual practices, the artists Amparo Lippek, Luca Ganz aand Orel Kötter, presented the themes that they’re influenced by, from ecofeminist notions of belonging to the passage of time and deterioration of human traces. In an endurance performance at the opening, the artists simultaneously performed their own practices in reaction to each other, converting the collected input into collective output.
